Everything & Nothing

"Everything and Nothing" was the first solo show by the Dublin born Carl Hickey. Visitors to the exhibition experienced a contemporary representation of Dublin and its people. The familiar and the unfamiliar.

Carl Hickey’s work primarily takes shape through painting, often combined with text and projection. Carl’s artworks are a document of his surroundings, usually transcribed from videos captured on his phone. They are directly inspired by intimate, sometimes isolated events. Carl’s multidisciplinary approach subtly weaves his personal narrative into the works.

This exhibition is part of St Patricks Festival 2023.
