‘Don’t Forget To Remember’ is an unconventional show by Asbestos, about the slow decay of his mother, Helena’s, memories as they disintegrate from her advancing Alzheimers. These memories are represented by a series of 15 chalk drawings on blackboards depicting photos from Helena’s life. Once the show is over, Asbestos will then place the work out in the public, letting them fade or be destroyed, not by him, but by the vagaries of serendipity and chance.

The exhibition takes place at Atelier Pops (just around the corner from Atelier Now Gallery). The address is Unit 5, Charlemont Square, Charlemont St, Dublin D02K2P6.
