Abstract Boundaries presents ‘Play Area’
When: Thursday 25th July, 6-8pm
Where: Unit 5, Charlemont Square, Dublin D02DK57
Free event, all welcome.
In a world filled with complexity and uncertainty, art becomes not only a mirror reflecting our times but also a playground where boundaries blur, ideas collide, and creativity thrives. "Play Area" is a collective exploration undertaken by 12 emerging artists based in Ireland, delving into the realms of street art, visual art, and sculpture.
"Play Area" celebrates playfulness as a catalyst for innovation and discovery. By embracing experimentation and pushing the boundaries of traditional mediums, we believe we can unlock new avenues for creative expression. In this group show, the lines between street art, visual art, and sculpture are intentionally blurred, rejecting rigid categorisations in order to embrace the fluidity of artistic practice. Through collaboration, "Play Area" strives to foster dialogue, connection, and mutual inspiration in order to transcend conventional definitions, inviting viewers to explore the intersections between different forms of artistic expression.
