More about the guests:

Sean O’Hara

Seán O'Hara is an Irish Athlete who completed 30 marathons back to back in 30 days to raise awareness and open conversations about men’s mental health. Having struggled with both depression and anxiety, Sean will be sharing his journey of how he undertook such a monumental challenge to reach out to others struggling with their mental health.

Maser

Having created work since 1995, Dublin based artist Maser has earned much respect professionally and has generated a large and dedicated following in Ireland and abroad. His artistic practice includes large-scale murals, works on canvas, sculptures, prints and immersive installations. Sean and Maser have been friends for many years, and share an ambition of integrating their creative careers with mindfulness and athletic challenges. Sean and Maser walked across Ireland together in 2021, from Dublin to Galway on foot. During the Talk, they will be discussing their inspirations and experiences from this adventure, alongside their involvement in the Dublin Boys Club. And of course, their creative processes.

The talk is curated especially to run alongside Sean’s Solo Exhibition ‘Alternative Paths’ at Atelier Now. This is a unique opportunity to meet the artist, and to hear first-hand about his creative process including the inspirations, motivations and challenges behind the work. With thanks to our Exhibition Partners McGarrell Reilly.
